The IPPC’s Grande Finale - Partners’ Conference and LIMA Awards

The last day of this year's IPPC was spectacular: Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome rounded off his series on the power in pursuit of purpose. „If you define the purpose and stay focused, there is nothing you can't change. When you install prayer in your life, it's not about whether or not you receive it. It's about what you'll do with it when you receive it," Pastor concluded and expounded further on the subject of prayer.

In the evening it was time for the grande finale: the LIMA – the LoveWorld International Music and Arts Awards. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome opened this once-in-a-year event, reminding us that we're gathering in the place of the best of the best. And indeed, the LMAM gospel singers, musicians and music ministers exceeded all expectations once again, delivering impressive performances and powerful ministrations. Jeannine Zoe had the honour of ministering her song „Higher Life" with CSO from her new album „New Creature" on stage and was granted an award in the „All Stars Category" for „I'm so in love with you" in collaboration with Frank Edwards. This special love song is one of a kind and already known around the world as the wedding song of Sharon and Phillip Frimpong. 

After different segments, the celebration concluded with the award for the „best worship song of the year" and the „best song of the year". Both prizes surprisingly went to one and the same person, namely CSO, for her marvellous song titled „Holy Spirit" of which the music video produced by YOU Church. We warmly congratulate all award winners and especially to our dearly beloved Jeannine Zoe we say, „Congratulations! Well done...!"

Der letzte Tag der diesjährigen IPPC war spektakulär: Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome rundete seine Serie ab mit einer letzten Message über „ the power in pursuit of purpose" (die Kraft des Verfolgens deiner Bestimmung) ab. „Wenn du die Bestimmung definierst und fokussiert bleibst, gibt es nichts, was du nicht verändern kannst. Wenn du Gebetszeiten in deinem Leben einbaust, geht es nicht darum, ob du das Erbetene empfängst oder nicht. Es geht darum, was du dann damit tust, sobald du es empfangen hast", sagt Pastor Chris und geht tiefer auf das Thema Gebet ein. 

Abends war es dann Zeit für das „Grande Finale": Die LIMA – die LoveWorld International Music and Arts Awards. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome eröffnete den Event, der nur einmal im Jahr stattfindet, und erinnerte uns, dass sich die Besten der Besten hier versammeln. Die LMAM Gospelsänger, Musiker und Music Ministers haben tatsächlich schon wieder alle Erwartungen übertroffen mit ihren eindrücklichen Auftritten und kraftvollen Ministrationen. Jeannine Zoe hatte die Ehre, ihren neuen Song „Higher Life" mit CSO (erhältlich auf ihrem neuen Album „New Creature") live auf der Bühne zu singen. Danach wurde sie noch mit einem Award in der Kategorie „All Stars" ausgezeichnet für den Song „I'm so in love with you" in Zusammenarbeit mit Gospelstar Frank Edwards. Dieses besondere Liebeslied ist bereits weltbekannt als „Wedding Song" von Sharon und Phillip Frimpong. 

Nach diversen Programmpunkten kam es schliesslich zur Verleihung des Preises für den besten Worshipsong und den besten Song des Jahres. Beide Awards gingen überraschenderweise an die gleiche Künstlerin, CSO, für ihren wundervollen Song „Holy Spirit", dessen Musikvideo die YOU Church produzieren durfte. Wir gratulieren allen Gewinnern ganz herzlich – insbesondere unserer geliebten Jeannine Zoe. Wir sagen: „Congratulations! Well done...!"
